I can't say much about car rental, as I only rented a car once under Rohel, I will be 23 in 9 days.
I have rented a Uhaul twice in my life. I rented a box truck from Uhaul in 2016. I paid for it in cash and was only 19. The second time was a trailer in 2017, I was 20 at the time and paid for it with a debit card. I imagine that their policy is still the same as back then.

So, got a fridge question. I'm currently in a volvo, I think VNL, I could be wrong. According to the owners manual, a fridge is supposed to go in here, and it seems to have a 12 volt plug for that purpose. But the shelf is bolted in, it doesn't seem to be removeable.. so what fridge will fit in here?

I have used this app extensively and find it to be excellent. It is the easiest way to find truck stops and rest areas on my route.

Piss jug. Probably the best #### purchase I made. And no I don't mean using it to piss while driving. Initially I was against it because I didn't like the idea of piss sitting anywhere in my truck. Getting up in minus 5 degree weather just to go inside to take a piss got old quick. I bought a container to keep the jug in. Bought urine tablets to put inside so it doesn't smell foul after use. Works great.

A few drops of dish soap works very well for the stink.

Well, we will have to agree to disagree on this, I spent years OTR and never used my truck like a toilet, didn’t matter if I was in -10 or 110 degree weather, I go up, and out of my truck, but that’s me

Like this poster, I use Smart Truck Route, except I have it on iPad. Between my Garmin 770 and the iPad with Smart Truck Route, if I had to give up one, I'd keep the iPad. Since Smart Truck Route is a subscription, you can try it before you commit. I really like the estimations of where I will be in 1 hour, 2 hours, etc. This is helpful when planning where I will overnight or take breaks on runs.

When getting a urine jug, it is important to choose one that has a lid that securely screws on.

Large mouth deer park water bottles. $1.14 a gallon. They even come filled with the stuff your body needs to create the piss in the first place.
