If the boss saw us with straps over the tarps we’d be getting a chewing and we’d be tarping again.

Yer gonna have to call me lazy...LoL
I will throw a 2" strap over the end of the front tarp. I'll also strap over tarps on a hay load. With the tarp under the strap, I don't cut through the hay as bad. FWIW, I try to never haul hay if there's ANYthing else around.

I was surprised to see the 2 TMC trucks loading at the same place as me tarping before strapping recently. It was cold and in NY so maybe they just wanted to GTFO.

    FerrissWheel Thanks this.

I use to do it on palletized mud, can't hit every bag so roll out the tarps and strap away.

    FerrissWheel Thanks this.

Whenever i let myself get too proud or judgy the Lord lets me get a humbling to bring me down to my proper place. So if a dude shows up looking like a bum in what hes got and straps over the tarp at his crappy job hauling crappy freight.. Im not gonna point fingers. He coulda stayed on a section 8 stoop today refreshing his phone to see when the EBT clears, all at my expense. So im glad to see him at work.

Besides, you cant class up a circus tarp no matter how you wrap it. Looks as good as its gonna get to me.
