I’m glad we don’t have Samsara in our trucks. Only time you’ll get a call from safety is if the camera shows you blatantly speeding (10+ over) or if the truck goes above 80 mph, or if you do something incredibly stupid. I’ve gone down many a hill at 78-79 and have never heard a word about it

We’re governed at 68 but i voluntarily go 65-66 because it’s much easier on my blood pressure

We've heard that the Canuks are switching Lonestar back to Peoplenet, but not sure if these cameras are compatible or if they changed those as well.

This load just got more unproductive. This is one of the "call 24 hours before delivery" loads. The customer says they cannot accept the delivery until FRIDAY because they are reorganizing their warehouse and have no place for it. So, this just turned into a 11 day 1371 mile load. I am missing grocery warehouses more with every load.

Reminds me of something funny. I was pulling an older Carrier reefer one time and being an old Carrier unit, it was loud and rattled. I parked next to a dry van one time with it running. He promptly moved somewhere else. I was so tempted to move back beside him and see what he would do

Just a quick update, Arlington worked it out with the customer and they're rerouting me to another of the customers warehouses in Pueblo. I haven't gotten an updated time to deliver, and this all happened right before everyone in Colorado went home for the day, so I am not sure when I need to be there...but at least I am getting this oven off my back and out of my life.

Nice. Those deliveries can be cake walks or they can make you wish you had an elevator. I delivered one to the basement of the Dallas cowboys stadium once. I took three of them to a shipping hub to be sent over to UAA, that was a pain. 20 forklift running around but the ones that had forks long enough were all too thick. Multiple times I’ve seen a rental forklift show up to unload me and a bunch of designers/office types didn’t think about who was going to run the #### forklift. It’s always something.

I never got any specific time to deliver, so hopefully I won't get down there and be delayed more. There is a storm coming in Friday night, then some really cold weather coming behind it. I would like to be out of this area before it gets here.

That's when I volunteer my self.. lol . I have run into that crap as well. Makes me miss running those rock loads I was doing in Montana, guys at the jobsite would leave the keys in the equipment for me so I could unload super early or super late if i couldnt make it in time... sometimes a guy is spoiled and don't even know it, until we move on to greener pastures

Got empty in Pueblo without any issues. Then they sent me to Wichita to swap my conestoga for a step. Pick up a TMX load to Rancho Dominguez for next week. It says deliver Tuesday, I am guessing because of the MLK holiday. Will check with them tomorrow or Friday to see if they're open on Monday or not. If they aren't, then it'll be another 1300 mile week unless Rancho can pull a rabbit out of his hat and find me a load I can deliver by Friday. If it is only another 1300 mile week, that'll be strike 2 and would mean 4 out of the 5 paychecks in January would be grossing $1200 or less. I can drive a garbage truck making that kind of money, who needs to be OTR. As far as I am concerned, TFI can suck my Willie Wanka everlasting gobstopper, they obviously don't need experienced drivers. They can go bankrupt for all I care.

Is this a general trend with you guys right now or are you feeling like you're unlucky? I have noticed customer rates have taken another dive, I'm hoping things pick up in the spring, I'm doing just OK here as well, and seeing a lot of competition at shippers...
