I’ve actually seen worse than that out of some of my coworkers. At least there isn’t trash all over the floor.

    No doubt.

I take pride in my work so I react rather harshly to people who are, frankly, an embarrassment to this job. It turns my stomach that the same man signs both my paycheck and those of pigs.

Even worse, in many shops they are protected and get paid the same for such a substandard performance. My father in law is a retired Teamster from ABX/DHL and was always a horrible driver and not the best employee, yet due to his seniority, he would always get the best runs and the brand new vans when they came in, destroying them before the lower drivers got a chance to drive them.

I have only had two jobs where I had to slip seat (excluding my current work for the dealership doing driveaway) and hated most of my co-workers at both places because they just trashed the equipment.

Even at places with assigned equipment I always dreaded taking vacation, or even a single day off, because my truck would invariably get used as a service loaner and come back dirty or messed up!

And, don't get me started on all the filty trucks, and cars, I've had to handle as a tow truck driver these past 34 years. It is sad how filthy so many people are

Something is going on in Deland....I don't think I have ever heard about 3 of the senior management members decending on any 1 terminal at one time before.(They may have done it, but there weren't multiple messages sent out about it), even during driver appreciation month. Hope this isn't bad news for my terminals future, especially when they haven't gotten much progress made with the construction of the new Lakeland terminal.

I used to paint houses and was always surprised how disgusting some people are… didn’t matter if they were in the ‘hood’ or a gated community, some people live like pigs…
Worst one was a house in the Garden District of New Orleans… well over a $1million house (25 years ago!) and I moved the bed to paint the walls and there was piles of rabbit #### under there. I casually asked the homeowner how long she had rabbits… she looked at me funny and said they hadn’t had rabbits in 12 years…
There where so many cobwebs in that house it looked like a Hollywood set for a haunted house :)
