Wish I knew I could've parked there when I was running to Chi-Town. I'd either go to the Preferred Freezer on West Ann Laurie or go camp out by the freezer on South Packers.

They do have sharp trucks, daycab Pete's if I remember. They stand out from the majority of the Chicago outfits.

Vic Firth and bzinger Thank this.

The best Chinese food I have EVER had was from a little place directly across from a two-dock meat warehouse in Chinatown there. I think it was on Canal street. It might have just been very close to canal street. That meat market's dock was #### annoying to back into with a sleeper cab tractor and 53' reefer. Blocked traffic for a couple minutes to get docked.

Is that the 2 dock deal that the building isn't even marked to know what it is? Chinatown has some good eats 4 sure.

It was definitely poorly marked. This was a couple years ago when I was training with Stevens. My trainer, who was Perdue dedicated, had been there before.

Took me a few minutes, but I found the place.

    The restaurant is Tang's Garden.

The meat market is Charles Austin Limited.

At least those are the names Google Maps provided. It's definitely the place though. I remember that dock and the layout of the roads and buildings nearby, and Chinese restaurants in Chicago with their own parking lots are not common, from what I was told. Parking for cars. Not trucks. We got takeout and ate in the truck while on the dock.

The empty parking lot at Damien & 29th used to be the Santa Fe Rail yard. Part of it is used as a drop lot for the food warehouses.
