You should have posted more so we could have got to know you.
Crete hates their drivers, they're up there celebrating that they got you to quit so quick.
Plus it sucks to deal with old trucks that break down.
I will say that I have got 4 brand new trucks here, that's nice.
But
They have nobody for us to call if we have a problem, they don't care one bit.
Which makes me wonder how @Sustanon got fired.

No! He's actually a good guy. Big WWII historian and actually respects truckers. I'd lay $20 he leaves though. Think the culture is a'changin'.

I'm not sure why you haven't figured out that running one way irregular route van/reefer freight makes it nearly impossible to earn a decent living without killing yourself?
If you can't pocket a measly $1000 dollars a week working five days, then you're working to hard.tucker Thanks this. -

Back in April I bought this and had to move it around for a week til I got home, (that was my greatest birthday month ever)
That thing was heavy. And Summit was about the cheapest place I could find that model.
This week I just bought a cheap multimeter that had a tachometer and dwell meter on it.
.
I need the dwell to make sure my points are set right.
I do need a new Jeep top, but dang, they're about a thousand dollars.Dna Mach and iraqralph43 Thank this. -
Because some of us like to see a little different scenery. I went from a company that ran all but the SW and extreme NE to a company that stays east of the Rockies (mostly east of the Mississippi), and I am sick of seeing this area. I hated it when I was with Crete, and I hate it now. And where I live, OTR is what most of the trucking jobs are unless you want to haul logs or pinestraw.tucker Thanks this.

I liked my Lincoln except it didn't have a high enough duty cycle, that and the amp selector would jam. I have a Hobart now, and it has 100% duty cycle up to I think 100 amp, and it's a little smaller and a little easier to roll around. Wish I could have afforded a ac/dc/dc-reverse machine, but they were waaay out of my price range for the amount of welding I use to do.tucker Thanks this.
