I was inside the truckstop when I heard this Bullhauler talking about how he witnessed someone back into a 'blue pete and drive off'. I didn't mind much because I have a KW. As I was walking back to my truck I realized it was the only blue truck on the line Bullhauler dude met me out by my truck and we surveyed the damage. I quickly uploaded the footage to my computer and showed him that I have the dude redhanded.

By the looks he hit your trailer and I'm guessing not much damage if any? I could see the company name on his trailer but wasn't able to read his plate... What ended up happening? Did he take off from the truck stop or did he go park in another slot? Seemed like a simple backing job not sure why he had an issue....

Nothing really happened, just a little Swift Rub down the side of the trailer no biggie. Mostly just wanted to point out the chitenshick behavior of someone who backs into something then takes off without taking responsibility.

The dashcam records in 3 minute segments, I have another couple of videos of him setting up right in front of my truck with a clear view of the driver, truck number and trailer number. See no need to destroy the guy's livelihood over this by posting all that.

Hunt him down and beat him to death.

Okay, okay, maybe that's a little severe.

Just break his legs with a winch bar. ;)

Just wait till he goes to sleep and move his spot mirror 1/2 inch. That would show him not to mess with you

Right on, I'm sure the majority of us have had our trailer backed into at some point in time... A few scratches and a lil dent on a trailer that already has plenty of them isn't going to make me call someone's company just to screw there DAC up...

An ya I hear ya it's pretty evident that he knew he hit your trailer, and then he became a chikensizz and took off... Atleast it wasnt your tractor

Really.....you see no point in ruining his career because what.....you feel that it's ok for someone to do a hit and run....really.....tell you what, I haul a brand new trailer around and if that happened to me that dude would be finding a new career.

i had been involved with a hit and run going down the road, and I didn't have a truck or trailer number but name of company, management found the idiot, and guess what he now looking for a new career.

if you have crap trailers and or trucks, and don't care if someone hits you and leaves that tells allot about who one drives for and how one actually takes care of their equipment.

now if the driver did the responsible things that he/she should of done ok, no issues take pics, let insurance handle it. But seriously a hit and run really......I would really hate to think what the guy were to do if driving down the road and hit your family and kept going......
