Actually, as stated above, you can report issues on that "side sheet of paper" they call a "maintenance request form" until the cows come home....nothing is done. And don't dare ever fill out the DOT regulated DVIR form. The potty mouthed little boy will write you up, no joke.
I personally was told by this brat one afternoon, to keep putting air in a tractor tire that had a "slow leak" no tread and in violation of the DOT regulations, sane tractor I had been writingup for months.
I keep a daily journal as I have habitually practiced for years writing everything down.

    snowlauncher Thanks this.

Don's trucks are driven day and night. Day drivers and night drivers swap tractors twice in a 24 hour period.

OF COURSE tgat tire and many others didn't go bald themselves, it's "bald" due to negligence on the owners behalf, not due to negligence on behalf of the drivers.

Sorry. The "modern equipment " of which you speak has several mechanical issues, I actuallyknow, I've workedthere and know first hand.
If you haven't driven Don's tractors personally and are making a judgment call from afar, then you have no way of knowing what the condition of their equipment is in merely picking up or dropping off loads, correct?
