I'm not qualified to work for Fudex...I have this unique ability to avoid crashing into other vehicles. Besides, Ocala is about 75 miles from home. Thanks anyway.

I can't speak for the other three accounts but it's pretty close on the Leonards account. I will come just a little short of that. 53-54k, but I take 8 weeks off a year. 2 per quarter, so it could be more.

How's their trucks for the driver creature features and comfort, apu, etc? Heath insurance cost and plans? They have coast to coast runs, I'm from VT, they hire outta there? Bonuses, breakdown pay, etc? Anything else you can share would be appreciated. I'm usually out for 7 to 9 weeks and go home lIke for 10 to 12 days, don't take my vaction time (so I always have built up days for hometimes) just take the money..lol and keep the above schedule. They run all 48 states and Canada? I do Canada, don't mind because it opens up more miles, been to most of the Provinces. Thanks. JJ

Trucks are Peterbilt 579, maybe a few 386 also, and Freightliner Cascadia. All have APU and Refrigerator.

The Leonards Account I am on does do all 48 but some more than other. Not sure if they hire from up there but if you are on the Leonards account it shouldn't be a Problem. Leonards is out of Farmington NY so a lot of loads in Upstate NY.

Not sure about Insurance costs, I am.covered through the VA so we didn't even go over the plans they offer.

Bonus for Safety and Performance... I forget the exact breakdown but it amounts to .03 per miles, paid quarterly and then yearly also.

If you PM me I can get you the number to the recruiter and she can answer all the specifics. The office staff and shop personal combined is a total of 9 people so it is pretty tight knit and she did not mislead me on anything. The Boss is in the office right across the hall from her.

Are they leased on to all of these different companies, or just a contract carrier for them?

Leased. I run under Leonards Authority. If you look up Double J's DOT number it only shows one truck, that's the maintenece truck.

    He owns no trailers either.

    Cheap..cheap..cheap..Company motto.
They force you to buy over priced uniforms.
They sell food..drinks..laundry soap at the terminals.they will sell you anything.
They give you 3 seals leaving orientation..lmfao
They give you 8 log pages in case Qualcomm goes down..then you can buy your own.
The company shuttle car is 20 years old..cracked windshield..stalls constantly.
Trucks are all freightliner with opti idle..no power..half loaded won't pull hills.
Detention pay is minimal and you have to fight for it.
Monday 8 am is payroll deadline and they pay you two weeks later.
They remove any negative online reviews.
Double j transport..DRIVERS ARE NUMBER ONE BUT ARE TREATED LIKE NUMBER 2!

It's been awhile since I've heard anything about Double J. The last time I did two former drivers told me not to bother, so I never did

    Company is a joke.
Was running team and we sat each week for 3 days waiting at the shipper with no detention pay.
Partner quit and I offered to recover the truck.
They made me pay for the rental car to get back to the truck.
I doubt they will reimburse me.
Just glad to be on my way out of their truck.
    Drivers beware..
