Thing is when I do that my tandems loose their stability for about min or two and to me that would lead to drivetrain probes down the line. I've asked someone whom said "what happens with the tandems is normal " but who's gonna have to pay the bill, me. So I set all the way to the ground and add 9-10 high gear turns to uncouple how I think a truck should uncouple smoothly. Thing is, I haven't had any issue recoupling, I slide right back under. There's no metal on metal violence and I hear the click every time. I know it's the fifth wheel height but why I would risk my drive train is an easy answer. You wouldn't believe my affinity forb5th wheel dumps. Over!

Gold medalist for dropped trailer was at CRE main terminal.
Brand new Lease Op with his long nose Freighty, first solo load, drops fully loaded trailer loaded with EAMller Blue Ribbon Beef. SPLAT
Fuel tank snaps off. Mechanics almost tear the front of the trailer off trying to lift it with slings.
Irony = This HOT blonde chic comes over and just starts reading this kid that dropped the trailer the riot act. It was her trailer. She dropped it to get her tractor serviced, he didn't even have the right trailer.alds, alghazi and brian991219 Thank this. -
Lol, that's that stupid auto-type (or auto correct, whatever it is) feature on my IPhone. I REALLY hate that thing sometimes.

This is happening LIVE at my DC as I post these. Today is my Friday, and I just got done and am having a delicious hot dog with ketchup & onions. I'm getting close to the entrance, and the gates are just about closed, I'm going now WTF..............

It must be wreck your truck day ...I'm at a forwarding house in Laredo and watched one of those rooster cruisers rip his low rider bumper off on a curb ...hes tying it back on with rope now lolDave_in_AZ Thanks this.

There was a second wrecker arriving when I was leaving. I squeezed in a little side gate, turned all my paper in, parked tractor, etc., the guy that did it and his co driver are pouring bags, and bags of absorbent on the fuel spill. Trailer was fully loaded. He high hooked it. All the parking spots are full, all the docks are full, and the product is lined up inside the ware house, but no one is being loaded or getting in or out ( line drivers ). what a OMFG disaster.

Is it blocking the entrance

If that's your company's trailer do you charge him for the repairs
