Fast trucks driving slow?

My truck isn't governed, and I usually run around 64 to save fuel, you catch me go ahead and pass me, but don't take 5 miles to do it. If you take that long I may either slow down and let you pass, or drop the hammer and leave, it all depends on how many other idiots have decided that they needed to get by me going 1/10 of a mile and hour faster.

 

My favorite is the guys that want to race to the bottom of the hill, coming over in front of you so close a honda couldn't fit between your bumper and their icc bar then immediately fall on their face as the slope goes from down to up. I will every single time speed up just enough to keep the idiot from doing this. If your gutless wonder of a truck doesn't have the power to at least keep with me going up hill that does not give you the right to race around me on the down hill in order to make me climb at your speed.

 

I do 57mph loaded, cruising. I do 60 empty cruising. But what really frustrated me is coming up to traffic where it's enough for everybody to cruise happily but 30% decide to 50 in a 55 or 50 in the middle lane so then I would just speed up and go around them

 

I look to see if it is a mega de-nutted truck trying to pass and will step up speed to prevent the pass. Get up ahead a few thousand yards and take my foot off the go pedal and let it settle back to cruising speed.

 

SMH!!! Sad thing is that you're probably serious. Just another 4wheeler driving a truck. Same kinda doosh that rolls all the way down to the end of a lane closure before merging and then l eaves his garbage in the Wally parking lot 12 feet from the trash can.

I get mad real easy and take stuff personal..so i use preventative maintenence and back way away from the ones i dont like...keeps me outa jail and or from getting shot...

Luckily there still a bunch of old school, considerate pro's out there...nothing like rollin with a group of good fellas all of us watching out for eachother..I hate buttholes, I go out of my way to get them away from me, even if it means hitting a offramp for a wizz and a walk around...

How come no one has programmable sign board on back of trailer yet? Wouldnt that be handy to convey thoughts

 

So he is the douchebag cause some idiot blocks traffic for ten miles so he can go .05 mph faster? Really?

 

How about the governed trucks riding the middle lane because there isn't possibly another truck on the road who would want to pass them for doing 63mph? I'll give these guys the benefit of the doubt in high traffic areas as you become a nuisance when people are constantly entering and exiting from the right. But when you're running 62 in a 75 because you're truck won't go any faster, and you've got people passing you down both sides and scrambling to get out from behind please move over for the love of God. I'm looking at you CRE, whom I may or may not have displayed the 1 finger salute in a respite from professionalism...

 

I just get tired of driving fast sometimes.
