For those who don’t know, J-Net logistics (Kawasaki) in Moorestown, NJ has moved.

If you request directions via the macro they have been updated and are correct. It’s at 901 Lenola Drive, buuut you are supposed to enter off of Lancer Drive, first man door you come to has a little stop sign next to it with directions to check in. You go inside, call the number on the sign on the wall and he’ll tell you to write your number on the bills and leave them on the table.

    They ain’t quick.

2 hours and 15 minutes to roll off four machines, oof.

    * Edited because of Brain fart, The address is 901 Lenola, you enter off of Lancer drive. I posted the wrong street name for the address.

I should add Co-Pilot truck (the navigation module in Transflo) is completely wrong on the location. I’m sitting in the lot and it’s telling me it’s 4 1/2 miles away.

My Chula Vista stop was the same way. Address correct. A few miles away from where I unloaded though was where the gps thought I needed to be.

Simple math. Their bulk price is likely under $3 per gallon versus $4+ per gallon on the road. There’s no discount on def like there is on fuel. Whatever the pump price is is what they pay.

Have you ever run a business? What’s happening is most company drivers don’t top off their DEF at the yard as required because “it’s just not convenient”, so the just top off on the roads because “it’s not my truck, so why should I worry about the added cost” which, oh by the way is well over a dollar per gallon.

So after repeatedly expecting the drivers to do the right thing, and it not happening, the company implemented this policy. They’ve tried the carrot method, and it fell on deaf ears, so now they implemented the stick method.

Costs of running a trucking business have continually gone up, Insurance, cost of equipment, cost of maintenance on said equipment, health insurance, etc, etc. In the current freight market they haven’t been able to raise rates in over three years. As a matter of fact customers have forced them to lower the rates.

So Yes, they are watching every penny, because trucking is a pennies profit business.
