Good on you two. I think you’ve done pretty well.

 

Oversize and Heavy would be a waste of time for a team. You hardly ever get to run at night except for a handful of states and you almost never max out your hours. Lot’s of sitting around. Unless one of you want to run the pilot car.

Nah, Id cruise a midroof Volvo if the sleeper was set up like the '99 I used to run. That thing was like an apt.

OP, Imo I would try and stay away from bigger "training" companies. Good driving experience is better than knowing how to throw straps or tarp. These larger co's WILL make you tarp almost everything (watched a guy tarp rusty rebar yesterday with 8ft tarps).

Any one of us on here could teach y'all how to strap basic loads in probably 3 days. Basics aside, you will pick up a lot on the road and other drivers usually help when asked.

Do not be intimidated buy the freight sitting on the trailer, it usually never tries to jump off unless the driver does something real dumb!

 

NOT Primes flatbed division.
