My numbers are actually similar (Less miles/pay due to being off almost 2 months after donating a kidney).

I was able to make a good living, get married, and win an "Driver of the Month" award from the State of Nebraska! Again - in a year where I missed major time with an organ donation!

The packing plant decided that ALL New York & Bostons loads must be handled by GO Express drivers only because some of those bigger companies were always messing up, being late or whatever. So there is now a dedicated run, from Omaha to New York City or Boston, every week, that pays $1500 salary per week or .55cpm what ever is higher.Open only to drivers who lives within 20 miles of I-80. They moved a couple drivers already here into that position, and are trying to hire a few more who are know how to drive in the northeast.

I'll stick with my gravy run to California, but it is tempting...

 

One of the night shag drivers at GOP, did that Omaha to Boston run every week 3 years ago, and made good money at it, he had to come off the road due to family reasons.

 

You could pay me $2000 a week, I wouldn't run east every week

Looks like it's still being worked on. They also bought that old movie theater, and have torn it down. Have been told that it's going to become a parking garage.

 

Now they need more trailer parking space, maybe they'll buy Universe Truck lines out and use their space.

 

Already using our space and BJ is just laughing all the way to the bank and back. Lol
