Thank you for all the great comments on here I wish I had the option to slow down I would avoid just maybe 20 miles per hour if that. Unfortunately Outlets required to do 25 Lowe's in 10 hours. And it being a 2 mile trip followed to the fill And the other drivers doing the same speed didn't have much options. This is also the same company that trained for 3 hours in.a manual 10 speed and I end up losing control a day after it rained hard. My CDL has a restriction. I dont feel they cared 3 hours really?

Bro, that kind of driving is going to lead to problems. Lease roads were a beast but if your seatbelt ain’t keeping you in the seat you’re doing something wrong. Slow down, avoid the bigger potholes and inspect your tires and lug nuts every time before getting back on to a public roadway. A rock stuck between tires can turn into a missile at highway speeds. Don’t worry about what other drivers are doing, be a professional driver, end of story.

Driving a dump truck is one of those , you can't get any other type of trucking job situation. I did it once when I wasn't hauling machinery on a slow day and that has got to be one of the worst trucking jobs there is. I talked to one guy who was driving for 13$ an hour . Yes you read that right , go find a better gig driver

Check with these folks they might be able to help you set the truck up.

Since you’re gonna drive like them might as well set the truck up the same.

Man, you need to get out of there ASAP or at least slow the hell down. Once your back goes, you're done. And you're setting yourself up for a life of pain, injections, pills, and possible surgery.

You’re driving too fast, plain and simple. And, since you can’t change yourself into a bat like I can (you read that right), your only option is to slow down or change gigs.

    NISSA,
I commend you for tolerating the SELF ABUSE yet such punishment is WHY you were one of MANY hired that as well were and will be replaced.

WEAR A HARD HAT IN CAB which can also compress your Neck as well other bad injuries.

Yes, I have felt the steel support at bottom of seat structure, in a few Road Trucks on Interstates mostly in new Joisey.

    As others have stated:
You cannot continue much longer (and a BACK INJURY will sideline your future in basically ANY AVOCATION apart from stationary work on a laptop or desktop computer).

I had a similar position yet the company only had Freightliner Century Class Sleeper ROAD Trucks w/10 speed manual and wondered why WE got stuck in Quarries.
Company pressured US to "speed up" while most of US then refused.
Trailers were long rear dump on some local sites.
I lasted 2.5 days only because they expected Drivers to continue Driving during Breaks (you know how hard it is to open a can of tuna while driving, right?), which I stopped for 30 minutes.

BEATING YOUR BODY TO OBLIVION IS POINTLESS & no "amount" of hourly stipend will correct the damages.
    You'll simply become non useful.

    Keep US Apprised!!
