Look at all of that money sitting in your bank account, LOSING VALUE BY THE DAY. Inflation is going to start eating us alive! Does anybody remember the Jimmy Carter era when inflation was raging like a California wildfire, and mortgage interest rates hit 22-24%???

I’ve had three mortgages in the 18 years I’ve been driving. Never once had an issue with my job or pay structure.

 

I don’t think many lenders want to loan right now. Rates are very low. Risk is high with what is going on in this country today. They may very well be looking for excuses not to lend.
You might try Nationstar Mortgage? They bought my home loan. They seem ok to me so far. They did have problems. Appears they straightened out those things. They seem rather aggressive trying to loan.
I agree with you. It’s stupid to hold us to the same standards as many jobs. We’re truck drivers. Lose a job? You can have another before the sun goes down. We’re in demand. Exempt from the stupid covid lockdowns. We keep working.
