I love Walmart stores but wouldn't drive for them. I won't drive for any company that people drool and slobber over. Don't want to be lumped in with the droolers and slobberers.
How come everyone isn't driving for Walmart?

Regarding the idea of using your cell phone to send a text while logged on line three , most smart phones now have the capability of doing hands-free text messaging . would Walmart still have a problem with sending a text if it was done with hands-free technology?

No cell phones mean no phones at all

The active conversation is just as much as distraction as having the phone in your hand .... Go watch myth busters!

I cannot see bullhaulers working at a place like that. I did talk to a walmart driver a number of years ago.The one thing that has stuck with me, quote " If your told to go piss in the corner , you had better unzip on the way over and get with it". Ok, change my whole perspective .

Back in my construction days we built a barn for a guy that drove for wally world. All I remember is that he wasn't around much and his wife was lonely.

I don't work for Walmart because I have self respect and do not cavort with the enemy.

I make 68k a year working Tuesday through Friday pulling tanks for a great company. I am content with everything and yes I still cringe whenever I pass a Wal Mart DC. Horrible miserable human beings working at those places.
Ok big boy Thanks this. -

Walmart is basically the Evil Empire. Charges you for their people to unload their stuff, takes almost 4-5 hours to do that unloading, and if your 14 is up? Too bad. At least when I go into Costco I'm in and out of there within an hour of my appointment , and if I get there early, they let me park in the staging area. No unloading fee since they actually pay there people enough to do the job without soaking the drivers for it.
I've been to a large company that stuck me on "Walmart regional" duty only running a certain radius of a warehouse, micromanaged to the point of insanity. Plus I'm OTR, so if I'm staying out 4-5 weeks I prefer to run to a different part of the country than stuck in the northeast for weeks straight.John Dewart, BigGee, TokyoJoe and 1 other person Thank this.
