How to be a idiot

That's happened to me quite often in the last few years.

 

I was in a Walmart last night... one with some nice truck parking right next to their dock, with a whole row of trucks.

This prime truck with two guys in it... a bobtail... pulls behind my student while he is backing into a spot. The guy pulls in front forward... so he cant see us, and my student cant see him behind the trailer. Luckily, another drive blew his horn.

I got out and saw this idiot... first time Ive ever gotten out and yelled at a trucker before. The guy in the driver seat was from Uganda or something, very heavy accent... he said "Oh, I thought you were pulling out to make a spot for me!"... I told him that he can park anywhere in the entire walmart parking lot... hes a friggin bobtail! And I had to teach him that blinking lights meant backing up.

What I want to know is, how does Prime find people so stupid that you can put two of them together, and neither of them know that? That must be a record level of stupidity.

This particular Walmart has had several accidents with Prime trucks running over cars, hitting the wall behind the truck parking, and running over signs. The thing is, none of our Werner trucks have the same issue. Not one accident... despite being the only other trucking company that really uses the walmart.

Its hard for me to comprehend how a company can be worse... because we are pretty relaxed. Do they intentionally go out of their way to find the stupidest people they can possibly come across? Is there some bet in the recruiting department, to find the most braindead people in existence?

At Werner, Ive had some pretty dense students, but nobody nearly as dumb as the people who Prime routinely puts in their trucks. The level of stupid is off the chart.

Even when your in your 4 wheeler, I love when people see you backing out of a parking spot and then continue to walk behind your car and then get mad at you.

 

I got in line today at a Loves in Spartinburg for fuel.
There were no hoses fueling,so figured the driver was inside
prepaying.This went on,and never saw the driver return.
His truck magically started up after a long wait,and pulled forward.

I got fuel,and got back into truck,and waited on this "professional"
to pull forward again.I finally got on the horn and he still didn't move.
I had to get out and go yell at the guy.He was in his sleeper.
Unbelievable!!There must have been 50 spots open,and this guy is
in his sleeper on the fuel island!!
I still don't know what woke him to move up the first time.Never
had to say anything to a driver before today,but thats nuts

 

They just don't make'm like they use to. There has always been idiots,now there's just more of them. The level of moron driving trucks or for that matter an vehicle is beyond comprehension.

 

I swear sometimes I think my blinkers ain't working when these people pulled up behind me.
