I've came across 13'6" signs that were posted years ago. Over time, the roads get milled down and re-paved making them higher or lower. Any smart construction company would make them lower, but many have made them higher turning a 13'6" clearance into a 13'2" clearance.

It’s where that pilot and BN railroad is.
It’s about 2-3 red lights down, real nice.
and if you are around there like 7-3 you can go to Shelby and Getwell, turn South and about a block there’s a grocery store with truck parking, they do excellent plate lunches.
Gary’s Market.

When I first started driving a truck, my dispatcher sent me from Phoenix through Wickenburg AZ with a high cube trailer loaded with bottled water. Went through an underpass that you couldn't see the 13'6' clearance sign until you were actually entering the underpass. My trailer roof scraped a little going through, but fortunately no damage that I was a ware of. I figured the heavy load made me a little lower than it would have been normally.

Man you guys would be terrified with a 13"6 doing p&d in NYC. Lol I've been under a few in Manhattan marked in the 11"s but ny has that extra foot rule

Stop saying a heavy load lowers you more. It doesn't whatever you have your ride height/leveling valve it's gonna put there
