Interesting, I didn't do a pre employment drug test because I decided to go to with someone else. I also asked my new employer if that was gna be a problem. He said no, maybe because both employers were lease on the same company idk but always check clear house once in awhile. While you're at it check MVR and driving records
I did not know about refusing a pre-employment screening

“Ignorance of the law is no excuse.”
And i’m quoting an Arkansas Judge on that one.SoulScream84 Thanks this. -
What pisses me off is the lack of coverage by the schools and by the written test with many of the regulations and how to find answers.
If I were going to create a written test, the general test would be 100 questions with 10 questions per category and a 10% tolerance for failure. I have had applicants with new licenses who can't even answer some of the basic questions asked on the present test.
There is no excuse that anyone would not know any of the regs going into this, the entire CDL program is a joke, it is something any 14-year-old could pass with little effort, including the superficial road test.Oxbow, Rideandrepair, Blu_Ogre and 1 other person Thank this. -
I will be the first to admit I relied on handing the D & A materials to a lot of new hires BUT I was not dealing with anyone with less than 2 years of experience.
When I was distributing the current quarter's selections to each location; It included a reminder of the necessity to immediately go to donate and the prohibitive results of not going and/or leaving the testing facility.
Each terminal manager received his locations selections in individual envelopes containing the letter and the clinic authorization form from my MRO to be handed out at their disgression during the folowing 2.5 months having been trained on the importance of when and how to send his candidates.
Discounting numerous pre-emloyment positives over 5 years I had one post accident positive and one failed random as the guy's 'pain mediation 'specialist{sic}' had him frying his food in canabis oil.....
This stuff isn't rocket science and education must be presented; my question is was it really received by the students? -
That won't be necessary for me to tell you how much of a dumb #### you are. You already expressed self awareness.TripleSix Thanks this.

Now it's important to provide some context.
austinmike and Concorde Thank this. -
just having one scheduled won't be a problem. If you show up and then walk out then it can become a problem.

I was in this situation once. Was under the impression when its pre-employment testing hasn't commenced until you arrive at the facility. But I reckon if the facility is at the orientation or something like that, and you decide eh I don't wanna work here so I am gonna bounce. well, you just bounced your ### right out of the profession for a while.
