But... you could WIN a HARLEY!!!
That's their business model. Keep the load moving. Make the drivers run a split sleeper, then when they run out of hours and have to take the 7 or 8 hour break, have another driver come wake him up to relay the load. then the first driver, who now got a 3 hour break followed by being awakened at the 3.5 hour mark of his 7 hour break, will come into some fresh hours in order to load another one and start the cycle again. Their drivers rarely seem to get a full 8-10 hours truly off duty.
I FINALLY LEFT K&B TRANSPORTATION

Well, this certainly comes as disappointing news. I have no desire for any OTR gig, but they have a snazzy blue color scheme that contrasts well with their trailers. The logo is catchy. Ummm, what else? I can’t think of anything else.
Well, it’s just a shame. And, I’m ashamed for them. It certainly appears they behave quite shabbily.mjd4277, bzinger, TB John and 1 other person Thank this. -

All meat loads are hot loads (all right you juvenile delinquents , get your minds out of the gutter) and very often these refer companies cant get a truck to the patch in time so they will ride drivers like a rented mule to get the load there on time. Its very stress inducing and is horrible for your sleep schedule. It wasnt team freight when they booked the load, but poor planning means it danm sure is now.
OP, great and honest review. Your #1 reason for leaving refer is also my main reason and should be a big consideration for any rookie looking to get his start in trucking.Still undecided, tlalokay, dogtrucker and 3 others Thank this. -

Most remember K & B for calling the law and waking up tired drivers for a “welfare check” but really just to force them to drive tired.
