Does that thing work while the "driver" has one foot on the dash and headphones jammed in his ears?

It is interesting to see that for some the rates are the last thing to worry about when it comes to a new equipment.
That's good a business start. The source of revenue is all secured while the focus is placed on safety and perception of customers.

BTW. If I ever order a new truck, I'll order one without it.
    What's next... a mandatory owner - operator's facing camera.....?

a fist coming into the window from the mirror..? I guess that’d work..o_O

And you could’ve stepped a little further out to take a leak then right there by the sleeper..

Never been asked about collision avoidance and I wouldn't care. I don't want the feature. Now when the insurance companies start asking if I've had my covid vaccine, I'll make a stink.

The company could have beaten that case had they taken it to a jury, but they saved a ton of money by settling. It's like saying that a tire manufacturer is responsible for rocks hitting windshield, and they were responsible because they didn't put a warning sign on the back of the truck telling other drivers not to follow withing 500 yards. It's complete BS, like not wanting ID's to vote.

It was less expensive for the company to settle than fight the case. This is what the plaintiff's lawyers count on to make money. That is why most law suits settle because they know how much it costs to fight a claim. Our legal system is a joke, and will remain that way as long as most politicians are lawyers who make our laws.

Ive bought 8 new trucks without it and my next two in August will be without. Two after that next April are without. If anything I’ll get more resale without it.
