I think the hardest one for me was in Oklahoma. I was backing from a busy road into a road that turned hard to the left where the dock was. This dock was not designed for a 53 footer either. I had maybe 2 feet of space. I still have nightmares!

Not too much later, with a few miles and funky back-ups behind me, I thought, "I could do it if I had to."

You say if it is above you skill set to call dispatch, then what-are they going to come out and back it in for you? or just give you a pep talk? You can do it driver, just try harder! -
I been driving for four years now, dry van, and it's only in the past six months I'd consider myself even "average" at backing. For some reason it just took forever to take with me. I never damaged anything backing but I sure did waste a lot of time backing and filling. But about six months ago, I remember I pulled into a spot and just set up and then banged it in. I guess I just had to get out of my own way LOL.
