I'd just use straps, if that's an option.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I always 2 across and 2 floor to top. You can get them tight bottom to top, My trailer toucan strap the last 20 feet. I put strap on as tight as I can get it then as above. I load a lot of produce that's packed in ice so the boxes get soggy.

Discard the warped and bent, if load locks fail, they fail, try to use straps instead. Top to bottom? I see trailers with bent and repaired roofs, little screws on patch job, fork lifts left their mark. not sure I'd try that.

Straps aren't an option. And, my locks are new. I generally try to pick up 2 new locks anytime I get through one of our terminals.
I'm going to try that putting in at angle idea. That seems like a pretty plausible solution.chilibowl Thanks this. -
Are the walls bowed ?

No, but it is an older trailer and I'm actually picking up the old girl's final load right now. She's headed for Knoxville to drop and then Lebanon for de-prep (presumably for selling).

the load I have right now is secured with two 2x4x8's side by side. they are attached to each wall with a plastic bracket, the back of it sticks to the wall by peel away sticky. they work well
