Have six months experience no accidents at gypsum express. Just want to run west and all over.
    Any input is appreciated.
    Thanks Brian

Your not ready. Reefer has very tight backing. It's a lot of work. Pay your dues at the year mark maybe. Of coarse Prime does a lot of reefer drop and hook that might be ok. Best of luck. Great job making it 6 months no accidents.

Should see some of these drywall supply places and some of the shipper I go too. Just getting tried of wrestling Lumber tarps while on my 30 minute break. Running hard to make delivery times because they scheduled the s*** so tightly some times I can't stop and grab a bite to eat let alone take a piss.

So... backing with a reefer... I hear dollar general deliveries can be bad... but 2 occasions come to mind.

1 - a delivery to a place in Philly... pull up to the building on the right, back the trailer around the building 180 degrees blindside. I didnt like doing that one with the 2 guys that worked there helping.

2 - Delivery to Ralphs in Compton CA. It is narrow. If there is a tractor in the spot to the left of the assigned door, you cannot pull into or out.

Tight schedules are just that. Not sure you can get away from the occasional one. I had one just last week with multiple stops (first was 2200 in Las Vegas, next 0700 Ontario CA, final at 1100 29palms CA). The final was at a military base with the closest truck stop an hour out.

Never had these types of problems with dryvan. I dont think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, just different.

All I've done is reefer....find a carrier and apply....make sure you get one that offers reefer training....you have 2 major kinds...Thermo king and Carrier....both are similar...running a reefer isn't the hard part...its learning to sleep when the reefer is running is the key....lol
