"Never do a buttonhook after you pass your CDL test"

Do you agree with Knightcrawler that a truck driver should never buttonhook a right hand turn?

    I do not understand why you should make such a humongous issue. Every corner is different, do whatever needs to be done to get your rig safely around the corner. Emphasis on. Duh

    Making right turns has been so much easier once you figured out sliding the tandems changes the off tracking hasn’t it?

    Think it's illegal in Indiana to do a buttonhook. Could be wrong. I do them when I need to except in Indiana lol

    They're technically illegal in every state. If a person wants to get pedantic- every turn a semi makes is illegal because it's impossible to only use 2 lanes.

    Personally I'd rather take a slightly different route so that I can make left turns, but when right turns cannot be avoided do whatever you have to do to safely execute the maneuver and reach your destination.
