A lot of the older reefers also can hook up to shore power. They are rarely configured to do so, but if you know what you are doing and have the proper electrical cable and outlet, you can connect the cables and run the reefers without the diesel motors.

Yes. Idk if they did something different with the motor or the sound insulation or both on these new ones.
One of my customers has a couple of them and they are incredible, so crazy quiet.... On diesel power.... And when Plugged in they're almost silent.PE_T, Farmerbob1 and gokiddogo Thank this. -
All of this guy's threads seem have a troll vibe .
-
Yeah 5 pages of noise with reefers does seem to be an issue
-
Have you tried nosing in?

It’s not about the “music”, if one wants to call it that. It’s about “hey, look at me”.KB3MMX, Snailexpress and PE_T Thank this.

I kid you not, this happened to me 2 nights ago, and it was a CRST driver. Indian or Paki guy just rocking out in his cab. I knocked on his door and he turned it down.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

I have a 2019 TK reefer and it's really quiet and I sleep like a baby. My biggest complaint is parking next to a truck with air leaks who wants to idle all night, and his ####ing spitter valve goes off every 45 seconds.
Canadianhauler21, KB3MMX and bzinger Thank this. -
Reefers should all have to park in a section at the back of the lot.

Don't be reefist.Canadianhauler21, D.Tibbitt, Midnightrider909 and 1 other person Thank this.
