Everybody has been complaining about how those logs are set up to ding you if you go a fraction of a second over. So they are recording those violations and will get busted for every one of them. Unless you mean to tell me that the people in the office are changing those logs to cover them up, which is illegal as hell.

Bla Bla Bla...if you are an outlaw, you will hate ELogs but if you are a compliant driver with Integrity, you will love ELogs... You can tweak them a bit and as I stated before, once you get to know them, you can get some time back and you can fool line 3 for a short while.

It is still my contention that if you got a violation on your elogs, Swift knows about it and took care of it even if days later the DOT guy found the violation and tried to write you up for it, you and Swift would not have to pay one penny in fines. Same thing with paper logs, why do you think they want you to scan them every day if you can? This way they can spot violations before DOT guy can. If you're scanning your logs just once a week, DOT guy has the opportunity to see them before Swift and you both can be hammered for violations. I'm stickin with my contention until 20 people prove me wrong.

Look man tweaking is what you call cheating? If you are so compliant why the need to tweak? Just let the #### thing do it's job and call it what it is CHEATING.

Easy knightrider.... tweaking is not cheating, or at least that is not what I am talking about. I am saying this; dont "except" your logs daily, or if you do, go over them with a fine tooth comb and tweak them to make them correct. For example; you pull into shipper and jump out of the truck, than you jump back in and do your business..all the while you are on line 4, put there automatically. You can tweak it to show the time you were actually not working, ie; sitting in your bunk waiting to get unloaded... thats what I mean.
