You have driving experience? If so, don't go to a training company. They will want you to ride with a trainer and that's a waste of time. You just need some quick guidance in securement. What's your home 20, hand?

 

Try Rinauldo or Bulldog (the black and yellow trucks)....they have more options.
Next time you're at a full service truck stop, walk up to a flatbedder and see if he doesn't mind giving you the readers digest version of securement.

To expand on TripleSix advice, after reading the book and learning the principles of securement walk the truckstop. Look at all the flatbed loads. Try to figure out what they did right, what they did wrong, and what they could do better.

 

Melton Trucking or Maverick. Those companies. Do not use TMC.

 

You might want to check into Cypress and Sun Belt based out of Jacksonville. I have also heard good things about Central Oregon Trucking Company. Jordan Transportation is out of Mississippi and are a decent flatbed operation.
