The problem isn't with Aldi... It's with the packing shed.

How did everything turn out for you Rich? I hauled oranges out of Cali before but it was always a mixed load like with carrots or pineapples. Seems like a lot of these places could care less about doing things right!

Aren't pineapples, carrots and oranges supposed otbe hauled at different temp ranges?? were your hauls long distance or short? seems like the shipper would screw themselves with that combo

Went back at 7am the next morning and they stripped the trailer and reloaded it minus 4 bins. I was out of there by 8am weighing 78500 and good on all axles. I would have left without the load but the I called every broker in my black book and they had nothing going my way. I checked the boards and they were baron, so I just went ahead and took this load.

The load was long haul to Indy and they weren’t concerned about the mixed load. There wasn’t any problems when they unloaded me everything was fine.

Do manual defrosts 2x per day and your reefer should not see degraded performance. A 40 degree set point will not create massive amounts of ice in most cases, but it will be working hard to lower that temp, so defrosting it regularly is a good idea.
