Why would you go up for so little. You can do better staying in the lower 48 with less risk. Quit getting excited seeing the big gross amounts.

Landstar gets a 35% broker fee???
Seriously....why would any o/o do that...what do they offer to full time contractors to even begin to justify that??? -
Keepforgettingmypassword and Siinman Thank this.

Do your getting .65 on the dollar of actual load rate.....
Standard Reputable broker fee is 8% mind you I said reputable.
So I ask again....What does Landstar Give their contractors...that justifies 35%Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this. -
For many people they probably have access to loads that don’t hit the load boards.

Are the rules different if you run on the Can-Am Hwy from border to border? I never have been in Canada.
Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this. -
If your not allowed in Canada now and your thinking of working on it….. I’ll assume you have a record and Canada won’t let you in. Good luck on getting that fixed , it can be done but it’s quite a process. And you’ll probably need an immigration lawyer…….
p.s. those rates ain’t high enough for those runs……Keepforgettingmypassword and Siinman Thank this.
