Anyone heard of Rowland Truck Lines?
Boondock and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
Yep. They're out of Dade City, Florida. They've got a thing with Publix. See them doing drop and hooks at Publix Distribution Centers.Blue jeans, Boondock, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this.

I’ve come to realize there are two. Both owned by brothers but different companies. Rowland transportation told me they do the Publix runs, they only go to FL, GA, the Carolina’s and Tennessee. Rowland truck lines does more of an actual se regional deal with their main run being to Texas but they run all the states in between as well. I’m going to call the recruiter on Monday for RTLBlue jeans, Boondock, Another Canadian driver and 1 other person Thank this.

Was able to talk to a driver through Facebook. Said he’s been with Rowland truck lines for 10 years now. Has a dedicated route to Texas and back on 4 off 3. Says the miles are there if you want them

Yeah that was the one thing I was iffy on. Rowland transportation the other company pays after the first hour
-
Most companies pay after two hours, because that's the industry standard for a live load/unload. Anything longer, and the company/driver is losing money. If the other company with 1 hr detention for reefer is paying anything close, it would be the better gig... provided its also $20/hr like most places.
I bet that $15@4 detention means they have a lot of LONG waits at their customers.Stonehjl, Loudstacks, Blue jeans and 1 other person Thank this.
