I got a warning once for no steps on passengers side. DOT Officer said because I have a passengers seat, I needed steps. Every other Classic you see still on the road is missing passengers steps. Lol.

Magnum would remove it and store it. One driver actually secured a small freezer in it's place so they had more cold food storage. No law says you have to have one unless it's a team truck and the co-driver spends some off duty time up front, then a seat with a seatbelt would be needed.
Rideandrepair, GYPSY65 and Ikamob01 Thank this. -

But the seat shouldn’t be an issue unless you are team or have a rider sitting on a bucketRideandrepair Thanks this. -
I don’t have steps on either side, thinking about swapping my drivers seat out for a camp bucket too so I can poop while driving, might even say **** it and take out the motor to save on weight
blairandgretchen and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I don't have a pas seat, bought the truck without it, fridge and lots of mslns stuff in that space. Inspected many times, not a word.
Rideandrepair Thanks this.
