Renewing CDL Requires Birth Certificate Now?

Do you still need to bring a Death Certificate to vote in IL?

 

I usually bring my Certificate Of Naturalization when I renew here in Missouri .

I watched the DMV ask a 75 year old man for his birth certificate once, a real shame.

I almost did the “Seriously?!” on his behalf.

 

I'm a naturalized citizen from Canada and the dmv is refusing to renew my cdl because I don't have proof.through ins it could take up to 10 months.ill be out of a job.

 

Had to have my birth certificate last year when i renewed my CDL in Idaho. Luckily I knew about it before hand and had requested a copy... Cost $36.00 through an online service. Idaho still doesnt have REAL ID.

I find it funny that the birth certificate is required now... Anyone with a little bit of brains and time to do a little research can get a birth certificate for anyone else if they are so inclined to do so.

 

Someone told me that you had to have the "ORIGINAL" not a copy. you got yours with a copy?

 

I think it's ridiculous that all the states have been dragging their feet waiting till the last minute.

This real id thing is supposed to kick in in 2020. They all should have had their act in motion no later then 2015. Now it's costing a lot of money to play catch up.

 

Help me out here... what does the UN have to do with state driver's licences? Last I checked:

I thought it was TSA and Homeland Security.

 

They want to know who to harass

Global data base. If you’re not in it. You get free healthcare, housing, and monthly income. If you can land on foreign soil, and claim someone was bullying you at home.

 

I was able to cross into Canada multiple times with Enhanced CDL
