My son was run off the road by a Swift Transportation Truck which was en route to the Grand Canyon area on I-89. I am curious if there might be a way to identify the driver? Any help would be great, as witnesses saw him driving into their lane as well, and my son was pushed off a 7 feet embankment.

Swift can find what driver was there at that time. But without video showing proof a Swift truck did it, i bet you're outta luck
Flat Earth Trucker, austinmike, gentleroger and 2 others Thank this. -
Why run off the road?
Let swifty bump you, you then can have proof of hit.
I’m not running off the road for anyone.
But then again, if someone is coming into my lane, 1 slow, two acceleration to get on passed.
Why hang there, and then swerve off a cliff/embankment?austinmike, gentleroger, FearTheCorn and 1 other person Thank this. -
Just have your son check his dash cam.
Without one he’s probably going to need another career.austinmike Thanks this. -
OP, was your son injured? Did any witnesses have dash cam video of the truck? Do you have their contact information?Concorde Thanks this. -
But wouldn’t accelerate nor slow to get out of way, just want to hold him there. then try to shift blame.
What i read into it anyway.Bud A. and gentleroger Thank this. -
Numb Thanks this.

i’m thinking 89 merged there,
Maybe i’m wrong, but after they vented, they’ve not returned.Bud A. Thanks this. -
Imagine if someone posted every time they got ran off the road by a Swift truck. There would be no space left in the internet for anything else.
Bud A. Thanks this. -
Without a crystal ball nobody can really help you in this situation. you can contact Swift directly with a load of SPECIFIC info and maybe get somewhere with it. Coming here, though, isn't going to get you anywhere.
