I'm picking up in Lathrop CA going to Mt Crawford VA. The JCT fuel route suggests , I-80, I-29, I-70, well it doesn't show freeways but it shows fuel stops along those freeways. Anyway, my GPS shows going down California, then picking up I-40 going east out that way. Checked out Google maps, suggested that as their #1 recommended route as well.
Google and my GPS say it is a 40 hour trip but my trip planning shows 55 hours, we shall see who is right.

So running my Pay estimator for this week so far. Two Trips...1888 total miles. +40 for stop pay on a two dropper. (Detention for Cactus JBS not included)
707.84 after expenses. (Settlement into Bank)
Im discovering that my first 1800-2100 miles are worth more to me, then after that I seem to hit a law of diminishing returns for some reason.Steel Tiger and crxdc Thank this. -

It's nice taking 6 weeks off out of a13 week quarter and still stay in the black. -
Bwahaha I had a tech come to the trailer to check a tire, and as we were walking out there a flip flop bandit driver was walking in between and to the same spot we were, and proceeded to whip it out to take a wiz...busted by the supervisor lol.

I really hope no one thought my last post was brash. Just wanted to put some #'s out there for anyone who may be viewing this thread. I know some of our drivers do bring on second seats and do well. I was actually convinced to come here with the wife after talking to a driver that did just that. Unfortunately he couldn't seem to keep a second seat. Also I know that there are probably some teams out there looking at this and thinking about making the plunge as lease operators with JCT. I've never recommended to a driver to sign on as I figure they wouldn't drop the company driver mentality and would ultimately fail. Don't want that on me. Wifey and I drive comfortably at 63 mph, (usually), and get pretty good mpg and buy fuel as cheaply as we can. We do get 1000 gallons at the P/FJ, (cheaper locations), to maintain shower power. Wifey loves arrogant steve not stinky steve. I didn't get too detailed about our #'s as I keep them up on a small spiral notepad. It's a simple system but it works for me. Also I keep putting my longer posts into paragraphs but phone doesn't seem to allow that as it posts without paragraphs.
