Actually, it's officer discretion weather or not to shut you down and you have to be 100% on the paper. Just means they will find a reason. Non ELD trucks now have a huge target on them.

    New years resolution 2018.

I am no longer going to fix any trailer that I pick up that is messed up I, am done.

It's not like I have to worry about my lease being terminated for doing it because no one gets punished for it.

I'm tired of being a "team player" when 95% of the time I'm picking up trailers with more issues than Highlights. I must be on the wrong team.

DON'T blame you either...co's really need to crack down in these lazy bums...quit being afraid of losing a driver, because these are the drivers they shouldn't keep anyway..

No what's going to happen is I'm going to end up fixing 95% of the problems anyways just because I care about safety and not failing level 1 inspections....

I will however keep track of every hour where I pick up a trailer and immediately go to a shop and submit detention requests until I get my point across that it's something that needs to be addressed.

ELD mandate: More changes, more challenges ahead

They are finally providing better guidance on personal conveyance.

The WCC in Colton, CA just gave the best Christmas gift. My 1500 load was ready at 0800. Time to roll.

Picked up my preloaded trailer with 2 bad tires. Figure I lost about 400 miles of productivity getting them changed out.

That moment your trailer so dirty that even Blue Beacon is like we're going to leave this ticket open for a minute and wait... Because it's going to cost more...

Happens everytime I pull pork out of Logansport... I leave a forensic blood trail from there to receiver..
