Also if you get your eyes on one that you think you're going to take be sure you go in the shop and ask them if it's been a problem child. And go through it like with a fine-tooth comb as if you know the moment you take that truck out the gate you're getting a level one from a California inspector. See if they'll let you download the truck to check performance and use. If it's been pulled recently though it won't show anything because once you pull it it deletes it. IHF does the report.

Walmart in Winslow Arizona no longer has truck parking. Cement barriers blocking the way in if you go to the Walmart itself you're told to leave within an hour.

The abandoned truck stop property is not owned by Walmart so it is not Walmart's decision to close it it was the owners of the adjacent property tired of it being trashed out and it being a congregation point for panhandlers.

 

A good friend of mine was there just days after the closing and he was told by a local that the city bought the property...we'll see what happens..but i agree, i was in there the week before that and it looked like a dump..

 

Just get the best truck you can with a mind to trade it in as soon as possible for a brand new truck. They say 90 days before you can trade, I would call 3 weeks into it if you like JCT keep pressing them for an upgrade as soon as possible.

 

Any word on JCT getting new trucks? Not looking for one, just curious.

 

When I was at the yard, the word was possibly some 19's later this year. But, don't hold me to that. You know how office talk can be sometimes.
