I know the feeling. I just spent $300 on an iPhone 6s becasue I refuse to spend $700 to get another Galaxy.
I'm glad you addressed that. My wife's S5 is going out (gets hot, new OEM battery won't hold a charge for more than an hour or so, etc) and she told me to look for a new phone for her. One of our friends has an iPhone 6 (not sure of the specific model) and it's nice. It doesn't meet all of the requirements she wants (and very few, if any, new phones do) but the iPhone 6 is nice AND it comes with a good sized internal memory.
I’m liking it so far. Has double the memory of my S5 with 32GB. I had been having the over heating issue on it for a while, but the not charging thing was new. I think part of the problem was the huge USB 3 plug on the phone. Got to hit that port just right or the plug don’t go in. Probably lead to the socket getting loose on the circuit board.
Here's an article that talks about the possibility of transmitting logs wirelessly to the scale house, in effect crediting the driver/carrier with a clean Level 3 every time they pass through or bypass with Prepass a weigh station. This will help the smaller carriers who currently suffer from a huge deck stacked against them in poor inspections, but few clean inspections, makes their carrier look unsafe. So in essence, if a carrier could show 10 clean bypasses and one dirty inspection, all of a sudden that doesn't look quite as bad. Credit (or lack thereof) for clean, redux: Overdimensional haulers in inspectors’ crosshairs over visible violations ....it will require the wireless transmission of driver logs,....
This is interesting. An iPhone case that also gives you a working Android phone along with extra battery and the ability to add SD Card storage to the iPhone. Eye Smartcase - Case That Runs Android
2.46 an hour. That's my current rate when it comes to drop and hook trailer repairs. Picked up a trailer in Noel Missouri immediately it was throwing codes brought it back to the terminal w&b says they have to take the unit off to repair it on the inside. Ask me to take the trailer to w&b in Sapulpa (30 miles). Take the trailer there takes them 2 and 1/2 hours to repair it take the trailer back to the terminal because that's where my hours ran out. (30 miles). For my trouble I earned an extra 25 miles on my trip and a "we don't pay you to babysit". I could have just ran with the trailer throwing codes and then maybe would have broken down out here in the desert and they would have lost their load. Oh well...at least I got a whole 8.70 for doing the right thing... And they wonder why our trailers are in ####ty shape...
Didn't know this was an issue.....anywhere. Kansas *just* passed a law forbidding cops from having sex with drivers they pull over
