Here in AR it varies from 85-90$/ hour

Good mechanics are hard to find. Charge whatever you think you can get. If you're doing a good job and getting trucks turned around you won't have any trouble finding work. Most of them that advertise $85 an hour actually average out to about $125 an hour. $125 an hour or more seems to be a going rate. Why work for cheap when you don't have to? Wrenching on trucks is dirty, thankless work that should pay a premium.

125 to 150 an hour if you are good and do not ######## around. Get it fixed right the first time and no one will have a problem with that rate. If they are coming back after you fixed it then better start lower.

In TN my local shop charges $140 (advertised rate) but I'm a regular and they usually knock that down to $100.
