    That was nice load time SSB. I unloaded at sysco in memphis yesterday. Had an 0800 appt. Checked in early. Was finally put in a door at 1030 and didnt get out of there till around 1430

    Know a driver who took time off..after testing positive for Covid...Crete said he didn't qualify for the medical leave money..because he didn't get a Covid shot before getting sick...then had to take a physical..before coming back to work...doctor said driver was required to get Covid shot by Crete...before he could pass physical and come back to work...even though he now test negative for Covid

    I'm just repeating what he said to me and another driver....100% true or not...who knows...but I have no reason to doubt him

    The one certainty is companies can require the vaccine as a condition of employment. I can’t imagine too many trucking companies doing that, however. They can’t keep drivers as it is. Any kind of vaccine mandate would surely result in xx% of resignations on the spot.

    He should get a good lawyer. I don't recall seeing any company requirement that said I had to be vaccinated. Nor do I recall any part of the DOT physical regulations that require it, yet...I would insist the doctor show me the requirement in black and white. Since there is no formal company requirement, written or otherwise, then their denial of benefits can be challenged. And what if he had an exemption like religious or medical. I would find the best ambulance chaser I could find and take them for every penny he could get.

    And if I ever catch it... it's a workers comp claim since I haven't been exposed to anyone at home who has been exposed and/or is currently testing positive, so it had to have been while I was performing the duties required for my job, so it's a work related illness.

    Sounds like normal Creffer ...way of doing business...ask two different people at Lincoln a question...get 2 different answers...with both answers being incorrect

    After I deliver these bananas I'm to pick up a preload at jbs. Taking that to a bill Miller place in San Antonio and from Google...don't know how a big truck will deliver to this place.

    There’s nothing certain about that at all. The notion that companies can mandate an unnecessary vaccine as a condition of employment is unheard of.

    This is going to be litigated nationally and until a higher court puts a stay on this, liberal CEO’s will have 3-6 months to wreck havoc with their employees lives.

    There are real health consequences from getting vaccinated. Check out the CDC’s own numbers from their Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). It’s eye opening.
