I've been getting crap loads since the last holiday (Easter), it seems that an average of 300 miles a day is about all they can manage to get me, and I have had it. Will be on the phone with Deland tomorrow. There WILL be some changes, either initiated by them or by me. At least when SPD stuck me with crappy loads (or no load), I got $150/day layover when I had to sit. (Not that I would ever go back to what they have become)

This has gotten into my brain so thoroughly that I actually had a couple dreams about screwed up loads last night...one cancelled after 7 hrs of waiting...the other was a 3 or 4 hour wait for paperwork, but in both dreams, both the customers apologized for screwing up my trip, that's something you'll never hear from Lincoln.

I have found a picture of my replacement. I'll have to forward it to Lincoln so they can recruit him(her)

Even @High Stepper and I often have that beat on our local peddle runs.

I would go over everyones head immediately tomorrow including getting a hold of kutter…obviously folks aren’t taking you seriously for whatever reason…i would literally go over their heads and whatnot…I’ve done that a few times now and they got the msg loud and clear, don’t screw around with me and do things that intentionally cost me money on a grand scale because i won’t tolerate it.

A question if I may, for the sake of playing devil’s advocate for a moment…

At what point, if ever, does it become safe to assume that maybe the pickings you’re getting is all there is to be had?

Doubtful because after they screwed over @drvrtech77 on that Sacramento load, they magically found a SLC load after he got pissed off...and I was in that same area the day before and all I got was a 600 mile 2 day run to PA. And amazingly, after they cancelled the next load, and didn't put me on another load right away (for 20 hrs), it took me getting pissed off before they put me on this load that had been ready since Friday morning(they finally gave it to me Saturday afternoon)

I have found out over my various visits to the Acklie companies that the planners will only plan you just enough to keep you from complaining. If you're only getting 300 mi a day loads, and you don't complain, then that's where you'll stay. If you complain, they'll gradually increase your miles until you stop complaining, then that's where you stagnate.

In exception to stuff from KC to Omaha and maybe Ft. Dodge, IA to Lincoln, I don't think my company even has sub 300 mile runs

Case in point. My PTA is 5/27 0700. This is my next load offer

They're only providing more ammo for me to prove my point with management.

    17 empty miles?

I assume that means you’re the closest one to it?
