Purina. *Blinks vacantly at the monitor. suffers a episode of suppressed nightmares working those places.
To this day I can never bring myself to buy cat food from Purina. I just cannot. Even today my bones ache thinking of some of the wonderful loads delivered.
I shore hope they are enjoying a quiet evening today because I am not.

There was some monster DC I delivered to there when I drove for CRE back in the day. Always unloaded last. I'm thinking this was hate CRE thing, but anyway, appointment was always 0400, and I'd never get out of the until 0900 to 1000. My third time there, CRE had started paying $17.00/hr. detention after 2 hours. So the same dude gives me the same story, same door, I dock, he says I'll bang on your sleeper when I'm done. OK. So he wakes me at like 0930, gives me my BOL's, the place is deserted as always by the time I'm done, he says sorry took so long, blah, blah. I send in my MT call ----- BEEP detention awarded $56.00. I thought right on, got paid for taking my nap, take your time pal lol.Dominick253, pattyj, Big_D409 and 1 other person Thank this.

Your exactly right though, you get the sorry it took so long..blah blah, I smile, and get that detention macro sent right in AFTER I'm fully checked out of the guard shack..lol...I usually , exercise or sleep, or read or eat or combination of all 4 during these timesDave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Finally out at 2330. For two. Freaking. Pallets.
Big_D409 Thanks this. -
I'm guessing detention starts after 4 hours? That sucks waiting around. Sorry man
-
After two hours for me, assuming dispatch approves it. But they're in bed long ago, I'll have to get it retroactively approved in the morning.
-
they do don't charge me anything to unload no comm check or nothing it already done threw there deal.
I enjoy unloading and getting a little workout in at a dry 34-36 warehouse. Plus it's a local route mult drop sooner I'm done with Walmart I can get my other stop done fast and be going home. Last time I was at Walmart for close to 5 hours and was late for another appointment time .
