Split breaks legal?

    Have you ever gone to sleeper berth and woke up before your 10 hours were over and saw that you now had some random amount of time available for god knows what reason? It’s the Qualcomm giving you the remainder of your day’s 11 drive hours you didn’t use. Confusing as hell. But if you do sleeper berth for 8 hours, that will happen.

    I was always told you can't do the 2 first. Has to be 8 then 2.

    The regs are quoted right above in this very thread lol says you can do 2/8 or 8/8 or 8/2

    8-2 splits are legal, and useful in the right situations.

    I have done 8-2-8-2-8-2 before, stringing 8-2 breaks on a very tight long distance load.
