Do they make you wear a hi vis vest with a badge on it all of the time?

    Cherokee65 Thanks this.

No, they don’t but I want to be very visible when I’m out of my truck in truck stops. I just about got ran over my first week in a truck stop in Indiana.

Schneider policy is to wear a hi-vis vest when on duty any time you’re out of the truck.

Has anyone heard from Cherokee65 lately? I hope that he and the Mrs. are just very busy and not able to post. I enjoy following his new adventures and his progress in the new life.

I worked there almost 9 months, never got a badge.
they transferred me and another experienced driver out to our terminal of dispatch, mine was reserve la, and never was issued one. But then again they never asked for it.
They wanted to wear safety vest/shirt on yards and it was a good idea with their new drivers driving around practicing backing into spots.
I just did not like their Mickey Mouse rules on tanker, (clean shave everyday!!) I did but that afternoon I’d have a 5 o’clock shadow. One osr had shave again before allowing me to do ‘winter training’ in garden city ga, then they decided that wasn’t good enough, no winters, made me do it in Atlanta, which was a joke, then they said it didn’t count cause that’s a dryvan terminal, finally it counted in Coraopolis PA.

All I got was a pair of boots that weighed about 15 lbs each. Still have them but never wear cause they are so heavy.

    Friend and austinmike Thank this.

Last post from @Cherokee65 was 20 days ago, I'm mildly concerned. I hope he and his bride are ok.
