Even though it's only a few inches on the map, I think NY to NC might be a little more than 250 miles.
Congratulations on your new job(s)
I've heard a lot of good things about Walmart, although I have heard some grumbling from their senior drivers about a new "central" dispatch system. However, because you are just starting, you might not even notice this

From what I’ve heard from vet drivers and people on this forum, if you work hard and run your loads safely you can easily make around that much. A lot of the newer Walmart drivers from my area say they don’t make nowhere near that much. So IDK.

I would think if the pay were that high. Walmart wouldn't be searching for new drivers so much. No one would quit.
Used to be a time when walmart wasn't looking for drivers. And they had strict hiring standards.
These days. They're advertising everywhere.
The pay is good. But there's gotta be a reason why they're hiring as much as the megas.drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
I’m currently living well over 250 miles from the Johnstown terminal; according to recruitment, I have 90 days, after hire, to move my domicile to within the 250 mile radius of the terminal. This would include both a physical address as well as having my driver license issued from that same state.
