SUV squashed after excavator rolls off tractor trailer

They wanted it down there?
Why would that guy park his car there??

 

Unknown what citations if any. I think that driver should get one for improper securement, and one for manslaughter due to improper securement.

Condolences for those feeling the loss of the deceased SUV driver.

 

I wonder if the driver is related to the driver that dropped a bulldozer in Louisiana week and a half ago!

 

If he didn't get cited. He may as well get ready to sued for real. Dang that's awful

 

Not to be harsh, but the load still should have stayed on the deck.

 

Was that thing chained down at least?

 

my best guess(es) is that the machinery was not properly secured with the required amount of chains,

or,

there wasn't any securement.

 

This is why I don't worry when people laugh at me for 'over securement' on anything. I'll throw my extra straps/chains and spend the extra 15-45min doing it. I'll do whatever I believe is best to not be in this situation.
