The LTL I know of is 10 or more deliveries a day, along with pickups. Bumping a hundred docks a week. City work. Starting at 9-10AM and working til the freight is moved, usually 7-8 at night.
Which company automatically gives you 104 days off? Is there an LTL that I don't know about?

He’s including his weekends off. So the first year he gets 104 days off or 2 days per week. Then after two years he gets another 17 days for 121 total per year.

That makes sense. Linehaul is way different than city work. And even that's not a piece of cake.

Ok. You’re talking about P&D. That isn’t the only thing LTL Carriers do. There is a Linehaul side of the LTL Carrier. I didn’t realize you were speaking of city work. Linehaul is out-and-back, or OTR pulling doubles/triples. Either way, it’s much easier than P&D, and it pays a great deal more.

And if you work P&D, you get 104 days off. 2 days per week, 52 weeks in a year... that’s 104 days off, not including holiday or vacation.

Sure it is. You call the dispatch office, and get dispatched from home. You get to the terminal, hook a set or grab a van - whichever you’re instructed to do. You pull that set or that van to another terminal. Drop and hook. 100% no touch freight, no dock work. Then, when you’re out of hours of drive, or you don’t have enough hours to make it to the next closest terminal, etc... then you go to a hotel and sleep in a bed. Get up the next day, repeat the process.

It’s relatively easy. You only have to stay out 5 days, but you can stay out longer if you desire. It’s a great thing, and I encourage everyone to do this job. It’s easy. No headaches.

TO BE FAIR... Swift's cpm varies by the load. Had it go as low as 37, had it go as high as 54. Not saying that not knowing what you're getting paid until after the load isn't scummy, because it's scummy as all hell. I WILL say, though, that the biggest lie from that particular recruiter was only quoting a single number
