^^ I doubt you could give anything from Swift that we don't know. But go ahead and try.

They barely give their drivers 2 days hometime otherwise they give the truck to another driver, do you really think they are going to be happy having their truck parked for a day and a half?

34hr resets are not mandatory..too many of the new generation of drivers think you have to have a 34hr reset every week...wrong..

Indeed, I was more than happy to run on recap hours, as long as I was rolling.

No one ever said they were mandatory. Would be no reason to take one every week anyway. The whole purpose is to avoid driver fatigue. Running week after week on recap can take a toll. Bad things always happen to fatigued drivers.

I run on recap also, but after a 30+ 14 hour days, sometimes two rest breaks back to back is needed. That is the whole premise behind the 34 hour reset.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I had my dispatcher tell me to edit my logs and sleep in three 1-2 hr chunks so I could pick up on time. Lance Moultry on the reefer fleet in Decatur, GA. His boss, Gwen Johnson.

They got me home late for military duty every month. I finally raised hell about it and they wanted to get rid of me. "You don't pair well with our fleet," Gwen told me.

I could go on too. Anyone with a shred of self respect could.

I got the hell out of there the second another company would hire me at my experience level.
