I've never heard of a company rejecting a driver for one over axle ticket. Of all the things to hate about trucking, I wouldn't lose sleep over your situation.650cat425 and firemedic2816 Thank this.

Oh okay didn’t know if you were looking into like management but no it won’t, like others said if a minor SNAFU kept your from moving to a better company would you want to work for them best of luck

Exactly, I got one coming into Atlanta because I could not shift my tandems on the worn out POS trailers we were using. It never appeared on my record.tscottme and firemedic2816 Thank this.

I wouldn't worry about it but don't listen to me I have 4 professions under my belt 3 of which I am on vacation from that I just don't give a crap about much and can be counted on one hand also not good listen to me I will send people bad directions i sent my cousin to an alligator-infested area when he asked for fishing location.

Overweights are meaningless unless an inspection occurred. They have no meaning or listing on driving record.
They don't effect employment unless you rack em up.
Just pay the fine and call it a lesson. Certainly not worth a lawyer to fight it. You'll still end up paying the fine.
